Egyptian Air Forces bombed a number of terrorist hotbeds in northern and central Sinai, killing 19 takfiris and destroying four pick-up vehicles, the military spokesman said Thursday.
In a statement, the spokesman said the air forces targeted the places following information by security bodies that takfiris are hiding there.
A leading member of Ansar Beit el Makdis militant group was among the dead, the spokesman said.
The bombing comes as part of ongoing efforts by Armed Forces to destroy all terrorist hotbeds and fight takfiris in northern and central Sinai.
