Bomb disposal experts dismantled an explosive charge in Al Arish, North Sinai, on Monday with no casualties reported.
A report was filed with security forces about a strange object found beside a school in Arish.
Police forces, bomb disposal teams and ambulances rushed immediately to the scene, imposed a security cordon around it and blocked the street from both sides.
The strange object was identified as an explosive charge. Bomb disposal experts defused it remotely with a robot.
Security bodies combed the area to search for other bombs and to collect information about the perpetrators.
