One terrorist was killed in Algeria's Bouira province and a Kalashnikov-type machine pistol was recovered by a force of the People’s National Army, the National Defense Ministry said in a statement.
"As part of the fight against terrorism and in a combing operation, a detachment of the People’s National Army, coming under the operational sector of Bouira killed, one terrorist yesterday, at 7:45 p.m. in the zone of Ziraoua, Djabahia," the ministry said in a statement carried by the Tunisian news agency APS.
The operation resulted in the recovery of one submachine gun of Kalashnikov-type, a quantity of munitions, four ammunition stores, a pair of binoculars, two mobile phones and other objects,” it added.
