An Algerian security source on Friday revealed that Bordj-El-Emir-Abdelkader's mayor Chelghoum Ben Youssef was killed by two former employees who have recently joined terrorist groups.
The source said the offenders have not been arrested yet.
Ben Youssef, who was the mayor of Bordj-El-Emir-Abdelkader village, 80 km east of Tissemsilt state, was killed after masked gunmen opened their fire toward his farm on Friday.
