Former Libyan general Khalifa Haftar said on Tuesday that he supports Algeria's raids on the Libyan territories to secure its borders.
In an interview with an Algerian newspaper, Haftar said the Libyan-Algerian borders are plagued by bad groups, revealing the fact that he asked the Libyan government to let Algeria secure the joint frontiers.
"If I were to meet Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, I would ask him to cooperate in anti-foreign intervention efforts," he said.
