Authorities in Philippines have evacuated 100,000 people in the Bicol region after a typhoon hit the Eastern part of the country.
Nock-Ten hit the coast near Catanduanes island at 18:30 local time. There are no reports yet of casualties or even damages. Dozens of ports were closed after warnings of waves that will be as high as two meters.
The typhoon travelled as high as 185 kmh, current forecasts estimate it is currently traveling west at 15 kmh. The typhoon will come across the southern part of Luzon island and will travel close to Manila the capital. In 2013, super typhoon Haiyan claimed more than 7,350 lives.
