Quake rattles Washington, felt in New York

A strong earthquake measuring 5.8 rattled the US east coast on Tuesday, rattling buildings in downtown Washington and felt as far away as New York. The Pentagon was evacuated after the temblor, which according to the US Geological Survey had its epicenter near Richmond, Virginia.
