In its weather forecast for Wednesday, the General Authority for Meteorology and Environment Protection predicted dust-laden winds and reduced visibility in some regions of the Kingdom, including the eastern regions of Riyadh and Najran, as well as the southern shores of the Red Sea.
The skies will be partly to heavily cloudy and the weather will be mild with a chance of thunderstorms in the heights of Jazan, Asir, Baha and Taif.
The meteorological authority expects thunderstorms accompanied by active winds on the highlands of Madinah and Tabuk. However, temperatures will remain high in most parts of the Kingdom and it will be very hot in the east.
The report stated that wind movement on the Red Sea will be northwesterly to westerly, reaching speeds of 18-42 km/h. Wave height will range from 1-2.25 meters with average sea conditions.
On the Arabian Gulf, winds will be north to northwesterly, reaching speeds of 18-40 km/h. Wave height will range between 1-2 meters, with average sea conditions
