Until October 14, 2012 the 41st Olympus Festival will host in the Centre of Mediterranean Mosaic of Dion the exhibition under the title “The Russian avant-garde in Olympus Festival. K.M.S.T.presents a panorama of the Kostakis’ Collection”. This highly interesting exhibition has been organised by the State Museum of Contemporary Art (K.M.S.T.) in collaboration with Olympus Festival Organisation (OR.FE.O.). This rich collection, in property of K.M.S.T. since 2000, includes artworks of the Russian avant-garde, one of the most important art movements of the early 20th century. In this exhibition the visitor can admire exact copies of the collection’s most representative works, archive, photographic material and documents exhibited in chronological order. There is also a hall dedicated to the collector George Kostakis.
