The Bahrain Exhibition and Convention Authority (BECA) yesterday announced details of a host of planned conferences and events for the rest of the year.The Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre (BIECC)’s events calendar for the fourth quarter of the year kick off with the 6th \"Invest in Bahrain 2011 Forum\", which will be held on Wednesday, October 19, under the auspices of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.The forum, aiming to develop promotional mechanisms, will be organised in cooperation with the Economic Development Board (EDB), Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), the Labour Fund (Tamkeen) and the Federation of GCC Chambers (FGCCC).Other financial firms such as the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and the Union of Arab Banks will also participate.Other key events at BIECC include the forthcoming 20th \"Jewellery Arabia 2011\", to be organised under the patronage of HRH Premier from November 22 to 26.This international exhibition, showcasing world famous brands, high quality and luxurious designs of jewellery and precious stones, is expected to attract more than 600 exhibitors from 30 countries, as well as local and GCC designers and exhibitors, which testifies to the kingdom\'s ability to host outstanding and prestigious economic functions.It is to be noted that the number of the visitors of \"Jewellery Arabia 2010\" exceeded 40,000. Other bookings include numerous meetings, trade and marketing events such as the Times Reality India (Property Show), which will take place today and tomorrow and Bahrain Game Show planned to be held in December, 2011.
