As part of Egypt Revolution Days at the cultural office of the Egyptian Embassy in Paris, events taking place between 9 and 27 January will revolve around a variety of cultural aspects related to Egypt in the months of revolution. The programme incorporates a variety of conferences, music events, exhibitions and film projections. Ongoing throughout, an exhibition titled Tahrir Square 2011 showcases works by Egyptian artist Hossam Hassan. Hisham Gad, accompanied by a group of musicians, will perform patriotic songs from repertoires of Sayed Darwish and Sheikh Imam. On Wednesday 18 January Robert Sole will hold a conference discussing his latest book 18 Days that Changed Egypt Forever. There will be several musical evenings with performances by Amira Abd El-Aziz, Mahmoud Hassan, Saber Abd El-Sattar amongst others. Amongst the film screenings, Heart of the Revolution a documentary by Samir Abdalla will be shown.
