President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has received an invitation from HRH Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Chairman of the Arab Thought Foundation (ATF), to extend his kind patronage of and presence at the annual FIKR conference (FIKR 15) which will be held in Abu Dhabi next November under the theme Arab Integration: GCC; UAE: A successful Role Model.
The invitation was delivered to H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, by Dr. Mohammed Abdul Rahman Al Besher, the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to the UAE, during a meeting at the Presidential Palace today.
Sheikh Mansour and the Saudi Ambassador discussed ways of enhancing bilateral ties for the best interest of the two countries.
The FIKR Conference is a unique, world class event that brings together intellectuals, decision-makers, thinkers, researchers, and representatives of the private sector, as well as members of civil society and youth along with their international counterparts to discuss the most pressing issues facing the Arab region and the world. The annual event has emerged as the leading forum for debate on Arab cultural and economic issues, forging practical solutions for the region to benefit future generations.
