A special band from Kuwaiti state TV performed on Monday, joining the festivities of the ongoing Expo Milano 2015 universal exhibition, a move aimed at highlighting Kuwait's participation in the global
event.
The band gave visitors to Kuwait's designated pavilion at the Expo, a glimpse into the country's rich folklore.
Assistant Undersecretary for Television Affairs at the Ministry of Information (MOI) Yousef Mustafa told KUNA that the state TV band put forth a riveting performance, much to the delight of the crowd at the Expo.
He vowed that the Kuwaiti contingent participating in the Expo will put on further performances that would surely leave an indelible mark on the minds of visitors, underscoring the chance of familiarizing the world with
Kuwaiti art and craftsmanship.
A special gala as part of Kuwait's National Day slated for Wednesday will be held under the patronage of his Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Mustafa added.
The Expo Milano 2015 will be dedicating a day's worth of events to Kuwait, where a plethora of Kuwaiti artists and craftsmen will participate in an effort to be amongst the universal exhibition's elite performers, KUNA reported.
