A lecture by artist and art critic Ezzedine Naguib will be held 12 April at the Gezira Art Centre on the works of artists Hossam Gharbeya, Suzan Saad, Ramy Dozy and Tamer Sayed. Naguib is currently a member of the Cultural Constitution Movement. He is a founding member of the Fine Arts Syndicate and has also founded several cultural centres in different governorates in Egypt. Naguib has held 26 solo exhibitions since 1964 and has won several local awards, including first prize for art criticism by the Supreme Council of Culture. Naguib has published several books and studies on art criticism as well as short story collections. The lecture will start at 7:30 pm in Gezira Art Centre located in 1 Sheikh El-Marsafy Street, Zamalek.
