Culture Minister Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, opened today a plastic art gallery in the Bahrain National Museum, in which 58 artist participated. The Ministry of Culture, in cooperation with the UNDP, adopted the gallery "Women for a better future", in the occasion of the international women's day on the 8th of March 8, and Manama capital of Arab Culture 2012. The minister of culture valued the role of artists in reflecting the image of the woman, and finding a space to express her strength and willpower. She added that the International Women's Day is a message preserving her rights and principles.
