Lebanese designer Rani Zakhem has been invited to join members of the 21st Century Leaders Foundation – an organisation that supports key global causes, including poverty, environmental conservation and the protection of children by aligning with charities such as UNICEF, WaterAid, CARE International, Greenpeace and Save the Children. Sir Paul McCartney, George Clooney, Charlize Theron and Nicole Kidman are just a few of the more than 600 leaders who lend their time and their names to this cause. The foundation's most recent initiative – Whatever It Takes – is a unique artwork campaign that has raised over $4,400,000 USD. Rani Zakhem’s artwork – his symbol of hope and a stick figure of himself, have been donated to the foundation.
