Tunisian artist, Lotfi Bouchnak casted a love poem about Iraq, while he was in Sharm El-Shaikh, as a part of the theatre festival. The audience reacted great to the poem and the poet.
Bouchnak is famous of his sympathy, and his artistic message was always about freedom and dignity through singing and music. He moves between modern song and the Tunisian folklore, and he participated in a project with Fadel Aljaziri, that combines old Tunisian mystic singing. He also performed popular and religious songs, and he didn’t forget the international and Arabic causes, so he sang about Sarajevo, Iraq, stone children and the Syrian revolution.
With poet, Adam Fathy, he combined emotions, politics, and original music and came up with a new vision of the Tunisian song. His concerts are always full of Iraqi, gulf, Egyptian and Syrian songs, which made him gains a great fame in the Arab region. He sang for ancient poets such as, Omar Ibn al-Farad.
