Muscat Festival will begin on Thursday, with mesmerizing sights, food and entertainment for adults and children alike.

A tropical rainforest, paintball, fireworks theatre shows, folklore tales and bands will all be vying for your attention over the coming days.

The festival will mainly take place in Amerat Park and Naseem Gardens with the Oman Automobile Association also hosting events. The festival, an annual favourite among residents, will run until February 11.

The gates will remain open daily from 4pm to 11pm on weekdays and on weekends from 4pm to 12am, organisers announced on Wednesday.

Tickets to the festival will be available at 200 baiza per adult and 100 baisa per child.

The festival will be organised in Naseem Gardens and Al Amerat Park and will feature activities such as a tropical rain forest, paintball, fireworks, open theatre to host theatre and shows, performance of folklore and enthusiastic bands and skills plaza to host a variety of performances such as flame show, African show and air-trampoline shows.

Besides this, there will be acrobatic events, awareness programs, contests and recreation programs for children, cartoon characters and a large number of food courts for the visitors at both the venues.
