Hungary's Sziget Festival, one of Europe's most popular outdoor music events, began on Monday under sunny skies with local bands providing the tunes before international names take to the stage later this week. "Because of the heat wave organisers are using water sprays and are distributing mineral water," said a spokesman for the event on an island in the Danube, this year in its 20th edition and which runs until Sunday. Sziget, expected to attract some 400,000 people, will be broadcast live on the Internet for the first time. The eclectic line-up includes major acts like Korn, US rapper Snoop Dogg -- or Snoop Lion as he now prefers to be known following a visit to Jamaica -- and British group Hurts, as well as musicians from all over Europe and Hungary. Among them will be Kraak & Smaak from the Netherlands, Italy's Karmatronic, Serbia's Emir Kusturica and Danish singer-songwriter Agnes Obel. Others include the Stone Roses, LaBrassaBanda, the Pogues and Leningrad.
