The infamous erotic novel Fifty Shades of Grey has apparently been spotted at a bookshop in Egypt. According to a picture posted on Twitter earlier today, the sexually graphic novel, which has taken the world by storm, is now available in a bookshop at Cairo train station. Although the bookshop has not been named, Twitter user @LaurenBohn posted a picture of the erotic fantasy series residing on a bookshelf along with the caption, “Fifty Shades of Grey is one of the few English language offerings at new bookstore in Cairo train station.” Fifty Shades of Grey was released by E.L James in 2011. It quickly became a bestselling erotic novel, earning an estimated $9.8m in sales last summer. The novel centres around college graduate Anastasia Steele, who falls for the charms of S&M loving billionaire Christian Grey.
