The St Petersburg company of choreographer Boris Eifman plays four London shows. Eifman\'s thing is lavishly presented, angsty modern melodrama, generally taking a Russian literary classic as its starting point. Some find him a shallow show-off, others love the dazzle and drama, which will be on display here in versions of \'Anna Karenina\' (Tue-Wed) and \'Onegin\' (Fri-Sat). Both are stories that have been translated into ballet in the past and Eifman\'s versions are mostly simplified to torrid love triangles (with occasional added electric guitar).
