It is 1961 and emotions are running high as young musicians Norman and Bobby battle for victory in a national song writing competition and, more importantly, to win the affection of the gorgeous Sue. But when Bobby discovers that the shy Laura has a hidden talent for tinkling the ivories, love and rock \'n\' roll fame beckons.
