The Kingdom of Bahrain is set to host the 17th edition of the Middle East Oil and Gas Show and Conference (MEOS 2011) on September 25-28. His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa will patronize the key event at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre (BIECC). The four-day event will be held under the slogan: "Future of the Oil Industries, Innovations Beyond Limits". The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) is organizing MEOS2011 together with Arabian Exhibition Management (AEM) and Oil World Exhibition. Exxon Mobil is sponsoring the event in coordination and cooperation with the National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA). Energy Minister Dr Abdulhussain Mirza extended thanks and appreciation to His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa for keenly patronizing the event its first inception in 1979. Over 300 companies from 30 countries will take part in the exhibition which will cover around 14,000 square metres. The key event is expected to attract a total 1200 participants, including experts and specialists to bring their wealth of knowledge and debate vital oil and gas issues.
