Dubai Customs has been nominated in six main categories of the 'Ideas UK and Ideas America 2017' awards.
The categories in Ideas UK 2017 are the best safety and environment solution, and in Ideas America 2017, the best innovation, the best safety and environment solution, the best ambassador and communication director.
Dubai Customs is participating in 'Ideas America and Ideas UK 2017' to entice innovation and encourage employees to work hard and come up with innovative new ideas to attain the first place worldwide following the wise vision of Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Hussain Al Fardan, Senior Manager of the Innovation Centre at Dubai Customs, pointed out that introducing the experience of Dubai and the UAE in innovation is a priority.
"Nomination for six prominent international awards is an achievement by itself. It proves how competent and well developed Dubai Customs is. This also reflects the big support that we receive from our leadership within a broad and wise vision to encourage employees to innovate in order to achieve the best development results and meet the government key performance indicators," he said.
"These achievements are also the fruits of the great support that we receive from our higher management and the wise planning of the staff of the Innovation Centre. We select the best ideas after evaluating and trying them before nominating them to compete for big awards," he added.
Ideas UK and Ideas America are non-profit organisations that help promote the best ideas and innovations worldwide.
