Sudan is currently taking advantage of major Gulf investments in the field of food security to develop its agriculture and livestock sectors, State Minister at Sudan's Ministry of Investment Osama Faisal said.
In statements on Monday, Faisal revealed that the coming period will witness investment partnerships between the Sudanese government and countries that have modern techniques and technology, aiming at establishing a development system for the economic stability in the country.
He noted that the livestock sector in Sudan is currently experiencing a growing demand by investors for its role in achieving food security, pointing out to Sudan's vast natural pastures.
Faisal expected Sudan to witness further openness in economic partnerships with global companies in the development fields, to be a hub for investments in various areas.
