Three ports in Suez were closed on Sunday due to bad weather, Spokesman for the Red Sea Ports Authority Malak Youssef said.
High winds and sandstorms forced ports of Adabiya, Zaytiat and Port Tawfiq to shut down, he said in press statements.
Meanwhile, fishing operations in the Mediterranean came to a standstill due to bad weather prompted by sandstorms, low temperature degrees and high winds, a source at Arish port said.
The ports will be reopened after the weather becomes stable, he added.
