The Ministry of Minerals and the State of North Kordofan, announced new evidences of new gold zones in Mount AL-Dair and Damper, where the meeting of the Minister of Minerals Dr. Abdul Bagi Gailani, and the Wali (governor) of the state Mutasim Mirghani Zaki AL-Deen, has tackled the mining prospects in the state, calling on the licensed companies to speed up work in the licensed squires. AL-Gailani directed the General Corporation for Geological Research to send a geological team next week to conduct surveys and identify crudes in preparation to start specifying squires for the companies. The minister said that the fluoride crude, which began to be exported in North Kordofan is internationally declined, stressing that the geological research proved availability of quantities of potassium fertilizer. On his part , the Wali( governor) Mutasim Mirghani briefed that the meeting focused on the need to regulate the native mining sites and ensure the means of securing and protecting environment. He emphasized that a number of companies that assigned squires license are (13) poining out that companies start conducting preliminary surveys and evaluation of raw materials, he referred to the minister directives to overcome all obstacles that may hinder.
