The Arab League's Committee on Customs Procedures and Information heldMonday its 18th meeting under the chairmanship of the State of Qatar and in presence of Arab States' representatives.
The meeting addressed the information electronic exchange between countries as a model that can be developed in accordance with the Arab countries' need.
The meeting also discussed the topic of "qualified customs ports" and the need to utilize Member States that have high standards in customs ports for increasing the capabilities of other countries. Member States' comments on a draft Arab Customs Model were also reviewed in the meeting.
