Minister of Finance, Abdul Razzaq Al-Issa revealed that the World Bank is devoting nine millions to support investments in gas field. He said during International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank meetings that, the Iraqi government will increase the work of the joint committee of the Ministry of Finance, Electricity and Oil, to activate and benefit from gas investments in electrical power projects. Media Office of the Minister of Finance said in a statement to “Arab Today” that, an Iraqi delegation participated in International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank Spring meetings held in Washington, adding that, the delegation discussed with IMF team headed by Christian Goss the second draft of the credit rating program "SBA" between Iraq the International Monetary Fund.
