Two former railway officials were dismissed from their posts as deputies to the National People\'s Congress (NPC) for graft charges, said the NPC Standing Committee here Saturday. Lin Fenqiang, former head of the railway bureau of Hohhot in Inner Mongolia, and Shao Liping, former head of the railway bureau of Nanchang in southeast Jiangxi province, were dismissed from their positions as deputies to the 11th NPC in a decision by lawmakers at the bi-monthly session of the NPC Standing Committee. Lin was involved in serious violations of discipline, and Shao was suspected of taking bribes, according to the committee.
