Two giant French and Danish vessels transited the Suez Canal as part of the south and north bound convoys on Sunday.
An official source at the Suez Canal Authority said that the French ship crossed the canal in the north-bound convoy with total cargo of 163,000 tons, adding that it came from UAE en route to Malta.
The Danish vessel transited the canal in the south-bound convoy with total cargo of 200,000 tons, noting that it came from Spain heading to Malaysia.
