The volume of trade exchange between Egypt and Slovenia hit euro 83.18 million in the first half of 2016 compared with euro 86.64 million in the same period a year before.
In a statement released on Sunday, the Commercial Representation Authority said the trade exchange volume between the two countries increased by 12 percent to hit euro 161.01 million in 2015 compared with euro 143.49 million in the year before.
The statement noted that the volume of Egyptian exports to Slovenia reached euro 71.88 million in 2015 and maintained the same level of the previous year.
Egypt exports included oil, aluminum, citrus, cotton, potatoes and table grapes, the statement said, adding that imports during 2015 hit euro 89.13 million compared with euro 72.44 million in the year before.
The statement said Egypt and Slovenia have clinched a number of trade and economic agreements and memoranda of understandings in the agriculture, investment, industrial and technological fields.
