Foreign ministers of Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan in a meeting on Monday evening reviewed avenues to implement their joint projects. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the Fifth Regional Economic Cooperation Conference on Afghanistan (RECCA V) underway in the Tajik capital city of Dushanbe since March 26. The trilateral agreement signed by the Iranian, Afghan and Tajik presidents on Monday was discussed by the foreign ministers, according to Iran\'s (IRNA) News Agency. Iran\'s Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi pointed to the country\'s strategic position in the region and voiced Tehran\'s readiness to help implement various joint projects. The Islamic Development Bank backs the development approach in the region.
