LG Electronics Inc., the world\'s second-largest TV maker, said Wednesday that it has signed an exclusive content supply agreement with Emirates Telecommunications Corp., a leading telecom carrier in the Middle East and Africa, to advance into the region\'s TV market. Under the agreement, the telecom company, also known as Etisalat, will exclusively provide news, film, sports, music, entertainment and other shows for the buyers of LG\'s smart TVs, which can surf the Web and expand its functions through applications that could be downloaded from LG\'s application store, the Korean company said in a statement.
