Saudi Minister of Trade and Industry Dr. Tawfig bin Fawzan Al Rabiah met here today with Minister of Economic Development, Innovation and Export Trade in the Canadian State of Quebec Sam Hamad who is currently visiting Riyadh. During the meeting they discussed relations of commerce and industry between the two countries and means of their development as well as taking advantage of the available opportunities and privileges and enhancement of trade and industrial cooperation to encourage the private sector in both countries. The volume of trade exchange between the two countries in 2010 amounted to 12790 million Saudi Riyals. The value of exports totaled 7323 million Riyals while the value of imports totaled 5467 million million.(QNA) OM
