Trade Minister Tarek Qabil asserted the government’s keenness on facilitating measures and surpassing obstacles facing investors in order to attract more domestic and foreign investments to the Egyptian market.
This came during his meeting with a delegation from the Japanese Mitsubishi Heavy Industries company to discuss projects to be implemented by the company in Egypt in the coming period including ships arsenal, power plants and steel industry sectors.
The delegation is expected to meet with a number of officials operating in the business sector as well as a number of ministers.
Meanwhile, the delegation asserted the company’s keenness to establish a number of development projects in Egypt, which is considered one of the most important markets in the Middle East and Africa.
The delegation also pointed out that it is working on implementing a project that solves the traffic problem in Egypt as well as establishing a school that combines between education and vocational education to meet the needs of companies that are expected to establish a number of projects in Egypt in the coming period
