UAE Foreign Trade Minister Shaikha Lubna Al Qasimi has met a number of Australian officials on the sidelines of the Arab-Australian Business Forum and Exhibition in Sydney. She held meetings with Prime Minister of New South Wales Barry Farrell and Deputy PM and Minister of Trade and Investment of New South Wales Andrew Stoner, wherein they tackled ways to boost bilateral relations in the areas of trade and investments. The Australian officials stressed the importance of the participation of the UAE’s private and public sectors in the event to introduce the UAE’s development plans to the Australian government, adding that this will create more new cooperation opportunities in different sectors.from khaleej times.
