Mobily has sponsored the Telecoms World Middle East 2016 conference, which started recently in Dubai as part of the company’s initiatives to enhance its presence in the region.
This conference is considered as one of the biggest gathering for the wholesale providers in the Middle East, since 1,000 participants attended the conference this year from 46 countries, and the discussed topics are drawing the attention of top executives in the telecom and information sector in the region.
Mobily participated in this gathering to keep pace with the latest updates in the telecom and IT, and exchange the experiences with the other participants.
In addition, the company is showcasing its distinctive presence in proving strategic services that have been launched in cooperation with other international operators such as advance connectivity and international roaming.
Mobily plays a key role in this gathering, since the company announced its participation in numerous submarine and regional cables.
Recently, the company has launched AAE-1 high-capacity submarine cable (Asia-Africa-Europe-I), whereas it is 25,000 km and will connect Far East countries to Europe through the MEA.
Such a submarine cable enhances the company’s data capacity and ensures the exchange of international voice, data and Internet services with lowest latency and highest capacity transfer. Moreover, Mobily owns one of the biggest fiber networks in Saudi Arabia.
