Nissan car recall to affect 1,000 cars in UAE
Car owners affected by the recall will have to take their vehicle to an authorised dealer

Hundreds of Nissan car owners in the UAE will be affected by the worldwide recall of 56,000 vehicles due to some issue with power steering hoses, a source told Gulf News on Monday.
A spokesperson for Nissan Middle East confirmed that the car maker is recalling certain vehicles that were produced in Japan, China and Russia. Affected units are 2013-2014 Murano vehicles, whose steering hoses could lead leak fluid and cause fires, according to AP.
There are potentially 1,000 cars that might be included in the recall in the UAE, the company said.
“Nissan is recalling certain 2013-2014 Murano vehicles produced in Japan, China and Russia to replace the power steering high-pressure hose with a new one,” Nissan Middle East told Gulf News.
“Owners of potentially affected vehicles will be notified beginning in March 2017 and asked to bring their vehicle to an authorised Nissan dealer to have the remedy work completed at no cost for the customer
