Abu Dhabi Aircraft Technologies (ADAT), an independent maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services provider, has been awarded a six-year contract to conduct Boeing 767 fleet airframe heavy maintenance for Thomas Cook Group\'s subsidiary Condor Flugdienst and Thomas Cook UK. Heavy maintenance work on the 47 C-Check events has already commenced, and additional Service Bulletin modifications will also be performed as part of the scheduled maintenance visits. Under the agreement, ADAT will also refurbish the cabin and perform exterior painting on some aircraft. In July 2010, ADAT signed a five-year contract to provide heavy maintenance support for the Thomas Cook UK Boeing 757 fleet. \"Thomas Cook Group continues to be a key customer to ADAT and this contract adds to the great working relationship that has developed over several years across the wide range of maintenance initiatives we have collaborated on together.
