Benchmark of Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) dropped during the week trading shedding 17.6 points and the daily trade volume fell 28.4 percent, according to the bourse weekly report released on Friday. The main index of the stock market decreased to 2,179.5 points, compared to 2,197.1 points the previous week, with a 0.8 percent fall. Main index of the financial sector dropped 0.34 percent, that of the industries, 1.87 percent, and the services, one percent. Number of companies whose shares dropped amounted to 96. Those whose stocks rose, 66 -- out of the 187 listed ones. Number of the traded shares, throughout the week sessions, reached 63.3 million, done through 23,591 deals.
