Gold prices slightly rose after the dollar index eased on Thursday.
Spot gold was up 0.25% at $1,175.36 an ounce, while the US gold futures rose about 0.3% to $1,173.80 per ounce. The dollar index, which measures the greenback against a basket of major currencies, eased 0.26% to 101.240.
Silver was 0.4% higher at $16.54 an ounce. Platinum crawled up 0.1% to $912 while palladium was unchanged at $770.08.
