The price index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) slumped upon closing the Wednesday session shedding 11.7 points and closing at 6,511.2 points. Volume of the traded stocks amounted to some 290.8 million, valued at KD 41. 2 million, for 4,422 spot deals. Indices of five sectors rose, with the banking sector on top, gaining 30.4 points, followed by the services, 25.7 points, and then the non-Kuwaiti companies, 7.3 points. The insurance sector was the top loser, bleeding 78.1 points, followed by the industries, losing 39.3 points and then the real-estate, only five points.
