The Qatar Exchange was slightly down on Tuesday 5.49 points or 0.06% to 8,452.46 points from the previous closing of 8,457.95. The volume of shares traded was down to 8,767,072 from 9,144,348 on Monday, and the value of shares up to QR270,887,502.62 from QR270,081,996.09 Monday. Among the top losers were Qatar Insurance whose share dropped by 1.03% to QR76.50, Electricity & Water fell 0.99% to QR140.60, Gulf warehousing Co lost 1.01% to QR34.35 and United Dev. Company down 3.39% to QR21.64. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector up 13.91 points while the Insurance sector fell 69.15 points. The Qatar industrial sector dropped 26.84 points and the Services sector down 9.45 points.
