The Qatar Exchange was down on Sunday 44.84 points or 0.51% to 8,666.65 points from the previous closing of 8,711.49. The volume of shares traded was fell to 4,324,401 from 4,728,997 on Thursday, and the value of shares down to QR189,380,428.49 from QR210,031,804.83 Thursday. Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share dropped by 1.17% to QR144.20, Comm. Bank of Qatar lost 1.08% to QR73.10, Barwa down 0.78% to QR31.80 and Qatar Navigation fell 0.69% to QR86.30. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector lost 87.50 points while the Insurance sector dropped 43.22 points. The Qatar industrial sector fell 17.90 points and the Services sector added down points.
