The Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend Wednesday adding 99.72 points or 1.15% to 8,765.14 points from 8,665.42 Tuesday. The volume of shares traded up to 13,325,059 from 8,786,780 on Tuesday and the value of shares increased to QR614,444,230.28 from QR 343,604,317.58 Tuesday. Top gainers were Qatar National Bank which was up 2.37% to QR146.90, Masref Al Rayan by 2.01% to QR23.88, Qatar Telecom up by 1.86% to QR164.00, Electricity and Water by 3.74% to QR147 and Qatar Navigation by 2.34% to QR87.50. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector gained 189.36 points whil the Qatar industrial sector rose 17.78 points and the Services sector was up 71.14 points .
