Danube BUILDMART, the retail arm of leading buildings materials supplier, Danube Building Materials, a leader in construction, building materials and shop fitting industries, has opened its second BUILDMART branch on Sunday at the Multi Planet Mall in Pune, India. The Dhs10 million showroom was inaugurated by leading Bollywood film actress, Sonal Chauhan, in the presence of Danube senior officials led by Rizwan Sajan, Founder and Chairman, Danube; Anis Sajan, Managing Director; Adel Sajan, Director and other key officials and representatives from Danube’s partner companies. The new retail facility is part of Danube’s strategic initiative to create a stronger market presence in the Indian market and also complements the company’s move to expand across key locations in the Middle East and South Asia. The new BUILDMART branch measures at 10,000 square feet and will feature an extensive range of building and home materials, particularly focusing on sanitary ware and ceramic tiles. According to Danube, the move to put up the company’s second branch in India in a ‘Tier-Two’ city like Pune proves to be both strategic and timely as the city is now witnessing an influx of infrastructure projects combined with property rates that are comparatively lower than prices in ‘Tier-One’ cities like Mumbai. “We are very excited with the opening of our second BUILDMART showroom in India. Our Pune branch is the result of our move to understand the customer requirements and demands,” said Rizwan Sajan, Founder and Chairman, Danube Building Materials. From / Gulf Today
