Southern Governor HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al-Khalifa met Hosing Minister Bassem bin Yacoub Al Hamar and reviewed housing needs and inspirations of citizens of Askar, Jaw, Aldur and Zalaq villages.
The Southern Governor hailed keenness of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on improving housing services and ensuring citizens’ housing benefits, pointing out the support of HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and follow-up of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, for the same.
He underlined resolve to translate HRH Premier’s directives to officials on carrying out field visits to learn about citizens’ needs and living conditions. He noted the need to update citizens on the progress of government services and efforts to provide them, as well as conveying their housing needs and inspirations to the concerned government agencies.
He stressed promotion to housing projects, calling for establishing a cooperation link between government service agencies and citizens for the support of the comprehensive development process.
A brief was given on phases and timetables set for the implementation of the Southern Governorate housing projects, in addition to the number of housing applications to be covered according to the ministry’s plan for meeting citizens’ housing needs.
