Turkish construction companies undertook 40 projects worth 2.3 billion U.S. dollars in 27 countries in July, Turkish Daily News reported Monday. The projects included two power plants in Turkmenistan worth 545 million dollars, a real estate development project in Kazakhstan for 370 million dollars, two hydro power plants in Albania for 256 million dollars, and three highway projects in Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan for 217 million dollars in total. Turkish construction firms undertook 33 projects out of a total of 154 in the first seven months of the year, said the report.
