Ben Affleck denies he's dating former nanny

Ben Affleck has vehemently denied he's dating his children's former nanny.

The 42-year-old actor slammed rumors of such in a statement through his rep after Us Weekly reported Affleck is seeing Christine Ouzounian, who cared for his and Jennifer Garner's three kids in the spring.

"The story is complete garbage and full of lies," the rep said Wednesday. "You shouldn't be able to hide behind 'blind sources' and attempt to destroy families going through a difficult time ... It's like story time in kindergarten. It's shameful and desperate."

Sources told the magazine Garner fired Ouzounian after she discovered the nanny's friendly relationship with her husband. Ouzounian and Affleck supposedly kept in touch, and the childcare worker was allegedly photographed with the star this month.

Garner and Affleck announced in June they will divorce after 10 years of marriage. The former couple share 9-year-old Violet, 6-year-old Seraphina and 3-year-old Samuel, and will reportedly rent Brooke Shields' home as their own house undergoes renovations.
